Traceability of Important Components

As a fundamental quality assurance measure, the complete traceability of electrical and electronic components is indispensable. Which components are considered critical is defined at the beginning of the production process. Components are, for example, labeled with barcodes upon delivery and can therefore be traced throughout their lifecycle. Thanks to the automated tracking of codes, complete documentation of components can be achieved.

Through these anticipatory actions a manufacturer can fulfill both regulatory requirements, as well as discover irregularities early in the production process. Exact cause analysis is also guaranteed, saving both time and money.

On-site inspections can be supported by the automatic recognition of installed modules and their cryptographically supported usage activation within the equipment. Exchanged original parts are recorded as “exchanged” and reported to the control center – depending on the connection of the systems – almost in real time
